* Green Room is a duo that combines the vocal skills of Elaine Holmes (vocals, keyboards, guitar and looping) with the instrumental abilities of Lawren Clark (guitars, bass, drum and instrumental loops).
With a large and varied repertoire covering Latin, Pop, Jazz, Electronica and original music elements, Green Room has been performing regularly in the North Okanagan for the last three years.
Green Room is committed to creating music that is at once original and unique, but also familiar enough to take everyone along for the ride. Much of Green Room’s music is also danceable and can be adapted to many different events and purposes.
Green Room performs its repertoire with varied instruments and technologies, but does not use backing tracks.

The Artists
Elaine Holmes and Lawren Clark established their duo as a creative and professional musical unit in early 2016.
Shortly after, they determined that the next step should be to integrate their original material into the repertoire. To that end they began sessions in the fall focused on adapting and arranging their individual songs to the duo format.
Ultimately this led to deeper collaborations on their original repertoire with Lawren and Elaine both bringing their strengths to enhance each other’s writing.
